Children Reading at Home20 October 2016 (by Declan McLaughlin (dmclaughlin)) |
Children reading at home at least three times a week.
As part of their homework, children should be reading at least three times a week at home. They have a school book to read but they can also record any other book they are reading at home. Please write the date, what page your child read up to and sign when you have heard them read; you don’t need to write a comment unless you want to. Key Stage 2 children can record their reading in their book or a parent/carer can. Once they have reached twenty five reads their name will go up on a central display in school.
