Good morning F2,

I hope you've all had a lovely weekend and are ready, to once again, search faithfully for excellence in our new learning week!

In Literacy this week, we are reading The Princess and the Pea. Over the week, we will be building our own Princess and the Pea books-ending with designing a front cover on Thursday. You are all becoming fantastic writing and I can't wait to read all of your stories!

In Maths, we're focusing our learning on the Numberblocks this week. The episode we will be focusing on is available to watch here: Numberblocks-Off We Go. We will be making staircase patterns with cubes to show that each number is one more than the previous one.

In Topic, we move our learning to finding out who lives in castles. Our new star words are: KING, QUEEN and RULE. We will be using our investigative skills to figure out a way to get the Queen across the moat and in to her castle. Perhaps you can think of a way to make a bridge at home to share with everyone in school!

All the resources that we are using this week are in the parent folders in the folder marked: Week 3: 17.1.22. These will be useful if you are self-isolating. Please send me any work that you complete. If you need any further resources, please just drop me an email and I will send you what you need.
