Good morning parents and grown-ups of Year 2
I hope you are all having a good week.
Children will be coming home with their spelling assessment sheets today. They have been assessed on the Year 1 and Year 2 common exception words which you have all been practising at home using the little orange books that your children were given several weeks ago.
Please look carefully at the spelling mistakes that your child has made so that you can practise with them over the holidays and the final half term of the year. Being confident with all of these words undoubtedly helps them to write with clarity as well as demonstrating that they are working at the expected level for their age in terms of spelling.
Well done to all children for their hard work this half term. They are a fabulous class and have made myself, Mrs Waller and Mrs Olding incredibly proud once again.
