Good morning Y2 and Grown-ups of Y2
I hope that you have all had a lovely weekend. I enjoyed being in my garden when the sun was out. What did you choose to do?
This week we will be having a history focus. We learn who Amy Johnson is and why we remember her. Can you remember what significant means? Do you think that Amy Johnson is significant?
Here's a Kahoot! Quiz to test your knowledge and understanding:

In literacy, we give instructions for how to build a kite. We learn about alliteration and practise imperative verbs and positive adjectives. We continue to think about how we can 'hook' the reader with our use of language and questions.
Here is our timetable for week 4.
Please note: Passwords for Sumdog, TT Rockstars and Numbots will be given out today. Children already have a copy in school but we will endeavour to photocopy them and send the home with children at the end of the day.
