Week Commencing 9th May
Posted: May 8, 2023 by: Year 3 (Year 3) on: Year 3 Class Blog
Hello my lovely year 3's,
I hope you have had a fantastic long weekend celebrating the coronation and enjoying the bit of sunshine. I really missed you all last week and can't wait to continue with our learning from tomorrow.
There will be no spelling test this week but please continue to practice these words ready for next Wednesday's test (some of these you have already learnt so it will be quick reminder);
build
guide
fruit
circle
bicycle
accident
actual
straight
weight
height
We will be continuing with our literacy writing and will have 2 independent writing sessions this week. In maths, we continue with our unit of money and in Science we continue to investigate the parts of plants and their functions. In our topic of The River Dearne, we will be exploring 4 number grid references so this week's homework task is to complete the map. Children will be given a print out of this tomorrow. Any questions at all please let me know.
