Good morning year 6!
I will begin by saying how brilliantly you have all settled into the new year, I know this great attitude and commitment will continue in the coming weeks and the rest of the year!
This week we are learning:
Maths - Place value
Literacy - Writing a letter from Beowulf to Hrothgar
Comprehension - The Lady of Shalott
Come and See - Loving
Spanish
Art - Sketching your own illuminated letter
Forest school - Den building
Science - Key components and functions of blood
Topic - Who were the Anglo-Saxons?
This week in science we will be carrying out an exciting investigation where we will be making our own blood!
Also this week, you will all be meeting your FS2 buddies and will be choosing a story to share with them.

PE will be on Tuesday so make sure you come to school in your PE kit. Forest school is on Thursday so you will need to come in forest school clothes on this day.
