Good morning Year 6!

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend and that you are all ready for another week of searching faithfully for excellence.

This week we will be carrying on our learning with:

Maths - Place value

Literacy - The story of Beowulf

Comprehension - The Lady of Shalott

Come and See - Loving

Topic - Why did the Anglo-Saxons invade and settle in Britain?

Art - Skills based lesson - adding mood to our illuminated letter.

Science - The key components and function of our heart.

Here is the timetable for this week:

PE will be on Tuesday so make sure you come to school in your PE kit.

This Thursday (Thursday 16th) we will be visiting Crucial Crew and spending the day there. This will be a great day for the children to learn about vital personal safety and behaviour topics such as road safety, internet safety, water safety and how to make an emergency call, and much, much more. Children must bring a packed lunch with them on Thursday as lunch is not provided. This will be a great day for us all! Week 3 timetable.docx

As always, if you have any concerns or questions feel free to email me on year6@olsj.org.uk and I will respond as soon as I can. Alternatively, you can email worrywednesday@olsj.org.uk

Let's have a great week!
