Presentation of the Lord - Year 6 Gospel Assembly

Our Assembly was about the Presentation of the Lord. Mary and Joseph took Jesus to the temple in Jerusalem. While there they met Simeon and Anna. Simeon and Anna were elderly and had been waiting for many years to see Jesus and had grown in wisdom. Joseph and Mary learnt more about Jesus from them.
We can learn a great deal from elderly people when they share their wisdom with us. During our assembly we highlighted the wisdom we received from older members of our families. You can find out about the wisdom we received in the pictures below.
