At Our Lady and St Joseph's Catholic Primary School, our Gospel-inspired values are at the heart of everything we do. We strive to follow the example of Jesus by showing love, kindness and compassion to others, just as Jesus shows His love for us.

Each class takes responsibility for a special mission linked to the teachings of Jesus. Through these missions, children learn how they can make a positive difference in the lives of others, both within our school community and beyond. Classes share their work with one another and encourage everyone to get involved. Together with our families, parish and wider community, we put our faith into action and live out our school mission every day.

Our class missions are inspired by Jesus' teaching in the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats:

"I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
Matthew 25:35-36

Jesus teaches us that when we help others, we are also serving Him. Through our class missions, children learn that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
