At Our Lady and St Joseph’s, our Catholic faith is at the heart of who we are and everything we do. We recognise every child as a unique and precious gift from God, with talents to discover, strengths to celebrate and a valuable contribution to make. Guided by our mission, “Searching faithfully for excellence,” we nurture the spiritual growth of our whole school community and help children grow in faith, confidence and compassion.

Our Gospel values of love, justice, honesty, respect, hope, forgiveness and stewardship shape our relationships, our choices and the care we show one another. Through everyday acts of kindness, fairness and service, children learn to put their faith into action.

Prayer, worship and reflection are woven into school life. From daily prayers to class-led Gospel assemblies, children have opportunities to encounter God, explore their faith and reflect on life’s questions. Roles such as school councillors and playground leaders help pupils recognise that leadership begins with listening, caring and serving others.

We believe that children flourish when school, home and parish work together. Through our partnership with parents, carers, families, the Church and the wider community, we support every child to develop their God-given gifts, recognise their worth and use their talents to make a positive difference in the world.
