At Our Lady and St Joseph’s, we believe children thrive when school and home work together. Parents and carers are valued partners in their child’s education, and we want every family to feel welcome, listened to and involved in school life.

Throughout the year, we invite families to join us for assemblies, productions, fundraising activities and other special events. These occasions bring our community together and give us opportunities to celebrate children’s achievements.

We hold two parents’ evenings each year to discuss your child’s progress, celebrate their successes and agree how we can support their next steps. There are also opportunities to visit classrooms, explore children’s work and share in their learning.

Regular communication helps us build strong, trusting relationships. Through homework and conversations with staff, we share information and work together to support each child’s learning and wellbeing. We encourage parents and carers to speak with us about any questions, concerns or achievements.

Our school calendar also includes social events where families and staff can get to know one another, strengthening the sense of belonging at the heart of our school.
