What makes my heart beat faster? (26.01.23)

Run run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man! 

F1 have enjoyed reading this version of the Gingerbread Man this week, which tells the traditional tale as well as teaching children why we should exercise: Keep Running Gingerbread Man.

The children have enjoyed a gym area in their classroom, directing each other about what stretch they could do and have enjoyed choosing their favourites. We enjoyed a parent and child keep fit class on Wednesday - we thank all our grown ups for coming along and taking part. We ended our learning making, baking and eating gingerbread men, before they jumped off the tray and ran off. There were 26 gingerbread men, 25 were eaten by 25 children. Much to the teachers surprise, the last gingerbread man really did leap off the tray and could not be found, he must have ran away with the help of little hands!
