A healthy snack for Little Red's Grandma

We were very lucky this week to receive a donation of fruit from our local Tesco's in support of our Keeping Healthy topic. We used the donated fruit along with some vegetables to make a tasty treat for Little Red's Grandma. The children used their DT skills of peel and pull and tear to prepare the healthy snack and the best part was, they got to gobble it all up afterwards. Yum yum.
This ignited a lot of discussion around healthy and unhealthy options for snacks and the children loved tasting foods that were new to them.
