Our second week and this weeks homework - 10.9.21
Posted: Sep 10, 2021 by: Year 1 (Year 1) on: Year 1 Class Blog
Good afternoon children and grown-ups of Year 1.
What an amazing week we have had again in Year 1. The children have absolutely amazed me this week with their hard work, effort and resilience and I was totally bowled over by their independent writing this morning. Well done Year 1!
Thank you for everyone that brought in family pictures to share in our Come and See lesson, the children loved learning about our Year 1 families. Home work for this week is to practice your counting backwards from 20 and our number bonds to 10. Your child can practice number bonds by joining in on the number bond rap video: Number Bond rap to 10.MP4
Your child is also coming home on Monday with either a RWI reading book, a book band book or both. It is really important that your child is reading at least three times a week at home, daily is possible to help their reading skills develop. These books will be changed each week on a Friday.
Here are some pictures of our week.

I hope you all have a well deserved rest this weekend.
Lots of love
