Week 4 - Homework - 11.5.23

Hello children and grown-ups of Year 1.

Here is your homework for this week.

1. Read your RWI book at home at least three times (don't forget to return last weeks book Friday morning).
2. Read and spell your red words (they will bring these home Friday).  The best way to do these are to get your child to read the word, then cover the word and get them to spell the word without them seeing the word.  Repeat doing this until they can confidently read and spell the word.
3. Access each of the links below to practice your sounds and blending (make sure they choose their own RWI group).
4. Play on Numbots and see how many levels you can get to.

Firstly I want to give a huge shout out to these Numbot superstars who have been working super hard on Numbots at home in the last 7 days:

Isaac who tops the leader board in most areas!  Most minutes played, games completed, correct answers and coins earned!

Luna has the second most minutes played.

Huey has the second most games played, correct answers and coins earned!

I also want to give a huge shout out to Daisy M who has had the highest accuracy (98%) and Charlie who has passed his levels with 3 stars 100% Well done!! 

Super effort :-) Let's see who is up there next week.  Well done everyone who has played at home.
