Welcome to Year Four
Posted: Sep 4, 2022 by: Year 4 (Year 4) on: Year 4 Class Blog
Good morning everyone, and welcome to Year Four!
We've already had our 2 days working together and got to know some expectations for our year together.
There's a few changes to how we'll be working this year, but nothing overly different.
We'll be learning literacy in a slightly different way this year, there will be less quantity but a higher quality in your work.
Numeracy will have us using our exercise books slightly differently than in previous years, but I'll tell you more about that in our first lesson.
Important days for you to know are: Tuesday (Forest School) and Thursday (PE and violins). Remember to come in the correct uniform on your active days. Any other day, you must wear the correct school uniform.
Our first half term topic is 'Field to Fork'. This Topic focusses on understanding where our food comes from and how to make sure we eat a balanced diet to keep ourselves healthy. We'll even be learning how to prepare and cook foods!
You can how your days run by downloading the timetable here:
I look forward to a great start with you all this week!
