Good morning Year 6! 

I hope you have all had a restful weekend and that you are all ready for another week of learning. 

This week in Year 6, we will be learning:

Maths - Finishing place value then moving onto addition and subtraction.

Literacy - Beowulf and Grendel's battle

Comprehension - The Lady of Shalott

Topic - What did the Anglo-Saxons believe in? 

Come and See - Loving 

Art - Adding mood to our illuminated letters. 

Science - Planning an investigation: What happens to our heart when we exercise?

Here is our timetable: Week 4 timetable

Homework for this week: Complete one lesson of Bedrock and one unit of Spelling Shed. This will be checked on Monday 27th. Prizes will also be available for those children who attempt TT Rockstars this week! 

PE will be on Tuesday so make sure you come to school in your PE kit.

This Thursday, we will be visiting St Pius. This will be a great opportunity for you to see what it will be like next year!
